As someone who participates in selling information, I have encountered many people who ask for my products for free. How do I recommend you handle this? I was wondering if I could get your product for free?” While I normally do not respond in the way I am tempted to respond, I often wonder what that person would think about me if I came to his or her house asking for free stuff? Or if I waltzed into her place of work and asked her to give me what she sells at her job free of charge? Of course if I did that, the answer would be no. Yet people still ask me for my products for free. I always respond that they need to pay for them so they will value it. Besides that, I do spend time and money on my products, so I too need to make a profit.

Case in point, there are a number of ebooks that I have on my computer that I never read. Why is that the case? The reason why is they were giving away free ebooks rather than selling information. If I would have spent $27 for them, I would read them because I want the money I spent to be worth the sacrifice financially.
