WordPress 2.5 Major Upgrade

Spring cleaning and business tuning kind of goes along with a major upgrade. Last year my business underwent significant changes to adapt to growth and refinement. This year the changes are being implemented and this site is one of the first to get the makeover.

One of the things that is always nipping at the heels of success is spam. Although WP up-dates, Askimet, and Spam Karma do work quite well, I’ve noticed performance depreciation as spammers load up the database even though none of it’s ever displayed. In my upcoming ebook I’ll be outlining what else I do to manage spam.

So far the plugins I’ve been using are compatible with WP 2.5 and because some get tested more than others I only mention what breaks when it becomes apparent. The only plug-in I have complaints about is all in one seo. Although it works just fine as far as I can tell the awfully frequent updates are almost as invasive as spam.
