The idea behind article marketing is that your articles drive traffic to a site where you can build your list, sell an ebook, or some other product or service. For the most part people go online to look for information. Your article then should be focused on how to provide information about a problem that your product solves.

In many ways article writing is a form of advertorial or advertisement written in the form of an objective opinion editorial. Your article may also include elements of copywriting that describe a problem, give a colorful description that stimulates the reader, point out how your product is the perfect solution, and then make a clear call to action actually telling them to visit your website or list building autoresponder. Integrated Search Engine Promotion

The combination of organic search, paid search, placement, advertising, and marketing activities can be generally described as search engine promotion. Individually these various search engine activities can be promoted and when they are connected as part of an integrated plan, the sum of the parts have the potential to generate greater revenue than if they operated independently.

The object of organic and paid search engine placement is to get your ad viewed. Meta tags and researched keywords are used to optimize your pages for organic search engine ranking. On its own this is not enough to get placement on the first page of Google search results. Continue Reading »
